CCLC 2020: 4th Annual Meeting

The Clean Capitalist Leadership Council 4th Annual meeting will take the form of a non-partisan, expert-level online conversation – almost a mini Zoom charrette. We will explore the range of new free market policies needed not only to foster breakthrough innovative clean technologies in each nation, but also to open markets everywhere, in order to spread those innovations and scale sustainable development solutions, globally, while expanding inclusive freedom and prosperity.

Our co-hosts for CCLC 2020 – Reason Foundation, ClearPath, CRES Forum, ACEEE, the Rainey Center and more! – will engage experts, from think tank and university scholars, to private donors, to political leaders, from the Americas and the United Kingdom, as we explore promising opportunities for cross-border policy innovation and collaboration.
 

Jigar Shah and Rod Richardson will kick off the dialogue with an overview of next generation free market policy innovation for clean energy, in the context of COVID global recession recovery. Gradually we will pull in groups of experts for a deeper dive, as we discuss how to accelerate early stage innovation, scale-up profitable technologies, or rapidly expand environmentally beneficial competition and free trade across many nations and multiple sectors (eg. transportation, conservation, real estate, manufacturing, plastics, waste management, land use, etc.).
